First of all it must be noted, for the sake of sanity in our home, that there's still some debate about who took the beautiful picture at the top of our page. If, as Steve argues, the picture was taken off of a sailboat during our "sunset cruise," then he took it. However, if as Amy argues, it was taken at sun-rise off of our balcony on the cruise ship, then she took it. Regardless it's a sweet picture and one of the Joffee's took it!
Unfortunately summer has come and gone, and we've now returned to real life. Steve is back at school full-time and Amy is still working for Rosignol and is thinking about becoming a part-time personal trainer. As always, we anticipate Steve being VERY busy this year. Much to our delight he made it onto the Utah Law Review this year, it's an academic journal that is really important to have on your resume. Like everything in law school it will take a lot of time, but it will definitely be worth it. He's also working as a research fellow for a former federal judge and he's really enjoying it so far, plus he gets a 1/2 tuition scholarship and a cash stipend! As if that and his regular classes weren't enough, he's also diving head first into this years on campus recruiting process. Basically law firms from all over the country come to the school to interview students for summer positions, and generally wherever you work your first summer is where you end up beginning your career. So far he's been invited to interview with 29 different firms. We just really hope that he gets a good job and the we end up in the right place. we're considering living in New York, Chicago, Dallas, Phoenix, or Salt Lake City, much to Amy's delight Idaho is not an option at this point.
Other than the law school rush things aren't too exciting at this point. As some of you may have noticed we tend to live vacation to vacation (especially Steve), hence the sporadic updates on our blog. Amy is heading to southern Utah this weekend, for a long anticipated backpacking trip with some friends from work, we'll be sure to post pictures and adventure stories when she returns! We've got a ten-day trip to Florida planned for Christmas break! We'll go spend a few days at Steve's parent's home and then 6 days at Disney World. We're super excited, Steve hasn't been to Disney since he was a kid and Amy has never been, plus Steve's sister and parents are coming for three days of it, and we're staying all 6 nights in a Disney Resort right in the park! In May we're heading to Mexico again, probably somewhere in the Cancun/Playa Del Carmen area. We really love it there, and we'll post the details whenever we figure them out. Anyone want to come?

I love that you're posting so much! I want to come to mexico with you guys. On second thought, I'll pass. Traveling that far with Taylor would be no fun at all. We went to Bear Lake last weekend and it was miserable and that's only an hour away! You'll just have to take a lot of pictures for me so i feel like I'm there!
